AI SOC rankings 2026: ten platforms scored for lean security teams
SHORT ANSWER
Mate Security leads at 7.90 out of 10, followed by Prophet Security at 7.30. The ranking asks one question: Which AI SOC platform can a lean team trust to investigate and act on alerts end to end, with the controls to decide how much it does on its own? End-to-end investigation and autonomy control carry 20% each, so a large integration list alone does not decide it; on data sources alone, Torq AI SOC Platform leads.

How do the ten platforms rank?
Hand-off score (editorial assessment, 0 to 10)
Hand-off score (editorial assessment, 0 to 10). Seven weighted criteria; totals computed from published weights.
Detection-led teams that want autonomous triage with readable queries, and keep response with analysts
How much of the alert queue a small security team could hand to a platform, as its own public pages describe it: how far it investigates without a person, how finely the team can set and pull back its autonomy, how readable its reasoning is, and what it takes to connect, host, migrate to and buy. It is not a measure of overall product quality.
How does each platform score on each criterion?
Scores per criterion, platforms in rank order. A filled square marks the highest value in a column, a hollow square the lowest.
Weights: Investigates end to end 20, Autonomy you can dial 20, Shows its reasoning 15, Reaches your data sources 15, Hosting and data handling 10, Brings SOAR playbooks along 10, Pricing clarity 10. Totals are computed in code from the scores and weights shown.
Where Mate Security scores lower
Mate Security ranks 1 of 10 on default weights. It holds the highest or tied highest score on Investigates end to end, Autonomy you can dial, Shows its reasoning and Brings SOAR playbooks along. It scores lower on Reaches your data sources (7 against Torq AI SOC Platform at 9), Hosting and data handling (6 against Conifers CognitiveSOC at 9) and Pricing clarity (4 against Dropzone AI and Intezer at 5).
Mate publishes no pricing unit (its only public price is an AWS Marketplace listing for one undefined usage tier), no integration count, and no single-tenant, customer-tenant or residency option. Its lead comes from autonomy control and playbooks: it is the only platform here that describes three autonomy levels with action checks outside the agent loop and translating existing SOAR playbooks.
A filled rung means the vendor's own pages describe that step. It does not measure how well or how often the step works in your environment.
Dropzone AI autonomy ladder. TRIAGE: Documented; INVESTIGATE: Documented; SHOW WORK: Documented; ACT ON SIGN-OFF: Partial; ACT ALONE, WITHIN LIMITS: Partial.

Vega autonomy ladder. TRIAGE: Documented; INVESTIGATE: Documented; SHOW WORK: Documented; ACT ON SIGN-OFF: Not documented; ACT ALONE, WITHIN LIMITS: Not documented.
These products come up in AI SOC conversations but are either AI inside a larger SIEM or EDR platform, which is a different purchase, or were not readable for this edition.
Radiant Security
An AI SOC platform buyers name often. We could not read its own product and pricing pages for this edition, so we neither describe nor score it. It will be added once its pages have been read.
Microsoft Security Copilot
A generative AI assistant, standalone or embedded in Microsoft security products, priced in security compute units: Microsoft's billing example uses $4 per provisioned SCU and $6 per overage SCU per hour, with at least one provisioned SCU required. It works inside Microsoft's products rather than as a separate AI SOC, so it answers a different buying question.
Gemini features (natural-language search, an investigation chat assistant, case summaries, recommended actions) come with the Enterprise and Enterprise Plus packages of Google's SIEM and SOAR platform, priced by ingestion through sales. It is part of a platform purchase, not a separate AI SOC.
CrowdStrike describes Charlotte AI as agentic AI for the SOC that triages and acts across the stack. It belongs to the Falcon platform, and neither its own page nor CrowdStrike's pricing page shows a Charlotte AI price.
SentinelOne describes Purple AI as an agentic AI security analyst for triage, investigation and hunting. It belongs to the Singularity platform and is not listed on SentinelOne's package pricing page.
A workflow platform for AI agents, apps and automation, with an AI SOC use case (alert intake, triage and remediation built as workflows in natural language) and a modern SOAR. It does not describe a prebuilt AI SOC analyst: the team builds the investigation logic, which makes it a build-your-own automation platform rather than the kind of AI SOC this ranking compares. It deploys shared, self-hosted or hybrid, and publishes a free edition (3 live workflows); paid editions are not priced.
A managed service, Managed Agentic Security Services: AI agents and Daylight's senior experts run detection, investigation and response 24/7 with contractual accountability, across 120+ integrations. Daylight says it is not an AI SOC tool, so it answers the managed detection and response question rather than this one. No public pricing.
Why does the platform with the most integrations not rank first?
Because data sources are one criterion of seven, worth 15%. Torq publishes the largest catalogue (300 integrations) and leads that criterion; end-to-end investigation and autonomy control carry 20% each.
Why are Microsoft Security Copilot and Charlotte AI not ranked?
They are AI features of larger security platforms, bought with Microsoft's or CrowdStrike's products, so they answer a different question from a standalone AI SOC. The section above summarises what their pages say.
What does a tie mean?
Totals are shown to two decimals, and platforms with the same shown total share a rank. No platforms are tied on default weights.
